Rachel Abston

Rachel Lou 'Jean' Elmore Abston 75 of Glasgow died Saturday March 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late William Evans Elmore and Mary Elizabeth Mesker 'Lizzie' Elmore. She was a homemaker and attended the Bethel Independent Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Teresa Robertson (Ronnie) of Glasgow; 1 brother Terry Elmore of Macon, GA; 2 special friends Geneva Renfro Morgan & Joyce Renfro Morgan; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Olin Glen Abston; 4 brothers Charles, Jess, Jerry, & Roy Elmore; Sister Irene Simpson. Funeral services will be 12:00pm noon Tuesday March 31, 2015 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm noon on Monday March 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
