Ralph Bass

Ralph Lee Bass 81 of Glasgow died Thursday February 16, 2012 at his home. He was born in Wayne County the son of the late Bram and Icey Owens Bass. Mr. Bass was a carpenter and farmer and was a former employee of Gray Construction. He was a member of Ellers Chapel Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Betty Buster Bass; 3 sons Jeff (Sonya) Bass of Glasgow, Allen (Marlene) Bass of Monticello and Robert Bass of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Brian Bass, April Johnson and Devin Bass; 3 great grandchildren Lauren and Braeden Bass and Caleb Johnson; 1 brother Melvin Bass of Indiana and 2 sisters Ruby Guffey of Indianapolis and Jewell Guffey of Monticello. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello on Monday at 10:00AM. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
