Ralph C. Depp 82 of Glasgow died Wednesday July 27, 2011 at his home. Born in Barren County, he was a son of the late Floyd C. and Ollie Glass Depp. Ralph was a farmer and a dozer operator and was a former employee of the Wells Construction Co. and Southern Explosives Co. where he was a superintendent of mining in eastern Kentucky as well as being self employed. Mr. Depp was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Glasgow. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Wells Depp; 2 daughters Sheila Depp of Louisville and Lisa Bulhoes (Joe) of Bowling Green; 4 grandchildren Corey, Brandenburg, Josh and Jordan; a great-grandson Keegan; a sister Dorothy Payne (Roger) of Glasgow and his niece and nephews Melissa Taylor, Bruce and Barry Payne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Rollin D. Depp. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
