Ralph Wiley

Denton Wiley 84 of Glasgow, died Friday November 16, 2007 at the Glenview Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late J. Walter Wiley and Martha Williams Wiley. His wife was the late Dora Pearl Williams Wiley. Mr. Wiley was a farmer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII where he participated in the Normandy Invasion and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medals. He is survived by 1 brother Lyron Wiley of Campbellsville, KY; 2 sisters Inez Buster and Mary Nell Thomason both of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and William Wiley and a sister Ina Dyer. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday November 18, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
