Ray Ambrose

Ray Ambrose, age 74 of Leitchfield, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Norton's Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. He was born December 8, 1940 in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Willie D. and Carrie Wooten Ambrose. He was a very loving and trusting man who would give you the shirt off his back. He loved his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Zelda Ambrose of Leitchfield, one daughter, Teresa Romans of Toledo, OH, one son, Billy Ray Ambrose of Morehead, Kentucky, three grandchildren and his dog who was his constant companion, Shadow. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be at the Ambrose Cemetery in Hazard, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
