Ray Ewell Graven

Ewell Graven 90 of Glasgow died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Diversicare of Glasgow. He was born in Barren County a son of the late Granville Ellis and Maude Witty Graven. Ewell was a veteran of the Korean War and served with both the U. S. Army and the U. S. Air Force. He was a former employee of Handmacher and S.K.F. and was a member of Dover Baptist Church at Haywood. He is survived by his wife Louise; son Gaylen Graven (Paula) of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Adam Graven (girlfriend Aimee Greer) and Amy Faircloth (Gilbert) both of Glasgow; 4 great-grandchildren Caitlin Adams (Jacob), Brooke Faircloth, Logan Faircloth and Garrett Graven and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ewing, Ellis D. Jr., Bill, Garland, Tommy and his twin Jewell Graven; and sisters Nell Ellis, Juanita Moore, Edna Britt, Gwendolyn "Nancy" Smith and an infant sister Viola Graven. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 21st at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM Saturday.
