Raymond L. Harlow 80 of Glasgow died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at his home. Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Jimmy and Lucille Walker Harlow. He was the owner and operator of Harlow's Auto and Wrecker Service in Glasgow and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He is survived by three sons Rex Harlow, Jerry Birge (Tommie) and Ronnie Birge (Debbie) all of Glasgow; one daughter Debbie Shackleford (Jim) of Lexington, KY; 7 grandchildren Jeremy Birge (Jenny), Kathy Murray (Maxie), Jonathan Birge (Miranda), Brandon Birge, Adam Birge (Kristian), Jamie Shackleford and Paige Shackleford; 4 great-grandchildren Hardison and Kailey Birge and Madison and Kaden Murray; 2 sisters Joyce Jones (Doug) and Louise McGuire of Glasgow; 2 brothers Leslie Harlow (Linda) of Glasgow and Ronnie 'Footsie' Harlow (Sheila) of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived a special friend Nicole Simon and his best friend Roxie. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Opal Jean Goode Harlow; a sister Evelyn Martin and four brothers Deward, Lester, Harold and Rex Harlow. Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, January 18th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Neal's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4pm until 8pm and Saturday morning until time for services.
