Raymond L. Jewell 68 of Cave City died Tuesday March 13, 2007 at the Hart County Health Care in Horse Cave. Born in Metcalfe County the son of the Late Floyd Jackson Jewel and Tilda Jewel. Mr. Jewell had worked for Edinburgh City Street Department in Edinburgh, IN and attended the Church of God in Park City, Survivors include his mother Tilda; Wife Lucy of Cave City; 2 sons Rondel Lee Jewell (Linda) of French Lick, IN and Billy Ray Jewell of Edinburgh, IN; 1 daughter Tammy Smithers (Eddie) of Edinburgh, IN; 2 brothers Edward Jewell (Linda) of Cave City and William Luther (Joanne) of Edinburgh, In; 2 sisters Gladys Young of Glasgow and Joanne Owens ( Jimmy) of Edinburgh, IN; 3 grandchildren Ann Howard of Edinburgh, In, Rodney Jewell of French Lick, IN and Jeremy Jewell of French Lick, IN; 8 Great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:30am Friday March 16, 2007 at Cosby Cemetery in Hart County. There will be visitation at the cemetery from 10:00am until time for the service. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
