Reba Austin

Reba Jewell Austin 87 of Fountain Run, Ky died Saturday February 5, 2011 at her home. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late Luther & Ora Humes Wood. Mrs. Austin was a retired cook and was employed by T.J. Samson Dietary Department for 20 years and a member of the Caney Fork Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Cleve Edward Austin of Fountain Run; 1 daughter Sandra June Lemons of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren Denise(Wayne)Todd of Fountain Run, Kim Austin of Louisville, John Austin of Glasgow, Fredia York of Glasgow, Chad(Kristi)Lemons of Glasgow, Cortney(Brittany)Austin of Fountain Run, Brittney(Tim)Guess of Glasgow & Lindsey York of Glasgow; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister Dorothy Combs of Glasgow; 2 brothers Charles(Patsy)Wood of Lucas & Archie Wood of Fresno, CA; 1 son-in-law Larry Delk; 1 grandson-in-law Stevie York and 1 daughter-in-law Elizabeth Austin. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 1 son James Edward Austin; 1 daughter Reba Cathy Delk, 1 son-in-law Junior Lemons; 3 brothers Floyd, Carlos and Willard Wood; 5 half brothers, 1 half sister, 1 grandchild & 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday Feburary 8, 2011 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Monday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
