Reba Smith

Reba Mae Smith 67 of Glasgow died April 26, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Cumberland Co. she was the daughter of the late James William Blakley & Ellen Mae Daniels Blakley and wife of the late Dewey Bransford Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include 6 daughters Darlene Vincent (Philip) of Glasgow, Patty Martin (Ricky) of Missouri, Linda Hogan of Cave City, Carolyn Wright (Lewis) of Glasgow, Kathy Smith (David) of Park City and Amanda Monroe (Lee) of Cave City; 5 sons Russell Smith (Sue) of Cave City, Joe David Smith (Alison) of Smiths Grove, KY, Michael Smith (LuAnn) of Park City, Thomas Smith (Karen) of Park City and Tony Smith (Sandy) of Glasgow; 2 sisters Bertha Blankenship and Fairy Devore of Glasgow; 8 brothers Arnold, Chester & Odell Blakley all of Glasgow, Cecil & J. B. Blakley both of Illinois, Perry & Raymond Blakley both of Eighty-Eight, KY and James Blakley of Sulpher Well, KY; 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a son Donald Eugene Smith, a brother Willy Blakley and one sister Ina Ruth England. Funeral services will be 10:00am Sunday, April 29, 2007 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
