Rebecca Lee “Becky” Peden, passed away, Friday, October 11, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gallatin, Tennessee on April 14, 1950, to the late Leroy Toms and the late Geneva (Tabor) Toms. She was a hairdresser and a member of Temple Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who was “Nana” to them. She was very active in her children’s sports as they grew up and loved watching her hummingbirds in her flower garden.


She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Peden; three children, Brian Peden, Renee Peden, and Casey Peden (Cindy); siblings, David Toms (Joey), Billy Joe Toms (Trish), Dennis Toms, and Cindy Halstead; grandchildren, Travis Peden, Matthew Peden, Katelyn Peden, Bailee Beard, Landen Beard, Alyssa Walden, and Wyatt Peden; brother-in-law, Terry Nunn; several nieces and nephews also survive.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Nunn and Tammy Glass; brother-in-law, Herb Halstead; sister-in-law, Debbie Toms.


A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 19th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time for the service Saturday at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Poplar Log Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
