Rebecca Melton

Rebecca Lynn 'Becky' Melton 48 of Glasgow died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Metcalfe County. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late George Ray Rigney and Odear Matthews Rigney. Mrs. Melton was a nurse at Edmonton Primary Care and also employed by the Barren Co. Correction Center. She was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband William Melton of Glasgow; a daughter Gina Lynn Payne (Mickey) of Glasgow; 3 step-children Stoni Melton (Joe Johnson) of Glasgow, Micky Melton of Glasgow and Josh Melton of Elko, NV; 2 grandchildren Alexyss and Hunter Payne; 4 step grandchildren Mickayla Melton, Logan Melton, Kelsay Botts and Talon Melton; a sister Birdie Hammer of Glasgow and a half-sister Jamie Southerland of Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
