Rebecca Sue Barbour

Rebecca Sue Barbour 69 of Glasgow died Saturday night Aug. 22, 2009 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Roy Carl Powell and Christine Owen Powell. Sue was retired from Farmers Rural Electric Co-op Corp. after 40 years. She was a member of Homemakers and the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband John; 1 daughter Audra Read and husband Josh of Glasgow; 1 son Derrand Hagan of Glasgow; 1 step-daughter Jennifer Barbour of Cave City; 6 grandchildren, and a brother Bobby Powell and wife Pam of Florence, KY. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday August 26, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Tuesday.
