Renee Buerke

Renee LaJoy Buerke 68 of Glasgow died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at her home. She was born in Downers Grove, IL the daughter of the late Elmer Pearl and Grace Mallissi Anderson. She was an R.N. and worked in Ft. Myers, FL where she retired. Locally she attended the Coral Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by a step-son Glen Lee Buerke of Colorado; 2 brothers Wesley Edward Anderson of North Carolina and Larry Paul Anderson (Carol) of California; 2 sisters Wilma Grace King of Missouri and Gloria Lynn Wineman of Michigan and 2 step grandchildren. She was also survived by her friends and caretakers Garland and Anna Trulock of Glasgow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Charles Buerke, 2 brothers Gary Michael and Elmer Wayne Anderson and a sister Jacque Dale Buchanan. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm Thursday.
