Reva Parker, age 96, of Park City, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Tompkinsville on February 23, 1928, to the late Edgar Moore and the late Azzie Emmert Moore. She was retired from Mallory’s and a member of the Dover Missionary Baptist Church.
Reva loved to quilt, read, doing word search puzzles, and watch her favorite soap operas. She loved to cook for her family and was well known for her meatloaf and pinto beans.
She is survived by 11 children, Sandra Reid of Glasgow, Dennis Parker (Rhonda) of Park City, Mary Hobdy of Scottsville, Carlie Parker (Sandra) of Bon Ayr, Barbara Campbell (David) of Brandenburg, Sherry Bulle (Terry) of Glasgow, Becky Wheeler (Matt) of Glasgow, Lisa Kingrey (Mike) of Etoile, Connie Willoughby (Barry) of Scottsville, Charles Parker (Linda) of London, KY, and Janet Hughes (Clay) of Alvaton; brother, Bob Moore (Sue); 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Parker; two children, Rick and Mike Parker; grandson, Dereck Parker; great grandchild, Emma Grace Morrison.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 27th, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Park City. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
