Rex Foster

Rex Carroll Foster 74 of Austin, KY died Monday, November 14, 2016 at his home. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Brent and Frances Key Foster. Rex was a retired firefighter with the Glasgow Fire Dept. His hobbies were trading knives and guns. He is survived by his wife Loretta Pruitt Foster; step-mother Tommie Foster of Glasgow; children Jimmie Foster of North Carolina, Beth Rogers (Caroll), James Kevin Black and Susan Ford (Jason) all of Glasgow and Candida Redman (Trent) of Mt. Vernon, IN; 5 grandchildren Miranda Hurt (Jason) of Cave City, Lauren Thompson (Adam), Dylan Ford and Brittany Ford of Glasgow and Brianna Kingrey of Mt. Vernon, IN; 2 great-grandchildren Cameron and Bailey Hurt; 1 sister Joann Wallace (Randall) of Glasgow and 4 brothers Douglas Foster (Margaret) of Bowling Green and David Foster (Sheila), Terry Paul Foster (Cheryl) and Phillip Foster (Vickie) all of Glasgow. He was preceded in death by a brother Mike Foster. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 16th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 Tuesday.
