Rexford Bowman

Rexford Thomas Bowman 81 of Glasgow, KY died Monday November 15, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mr. Bowman was born in Perrysville, OH the son of the late Thomas Earl and Edith Belle Leddy Bowman. He was a retired supervisor with the Mansfield Sanitary Pottery Co. in Ohio and the TXI Structural Cement Company in Texas. Mr. Bowman was a WW II Veteran serving in the U. S. Marine Corp, was a Life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Vesta Van Osdol Bowman, a son Ron Bowman and wife Cindy of Glasgow, a daughter Carol Fox and husband Dan of Salem, OH; a daughter in law Mavonna Loyall Bowman of Horse Cave; two grandchildren Tina Myers and husband Mike and Todd Bowman and three great grandchildren Jeremy, Josh and Danielle Myers; two sisters Mildred (Pete) Miller of Loudenville, OH and Norma LeMaitre of Ashland, OH and two brothers Max (Mary Jo) Bowman of Gallion, OH and Curt (Judy) Bowman of Loudenville, OH. A son Tom Bowman, a grandson Anthony Bowman, five brothers Charles, Bill Jack, Bob and Doyle Bowman and two sisters Helen Marshall and Loretta Lazo preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday November 17, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municial Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
