Richard J. Tinsley

Richard J. Tinsley, 80, of Glasgow, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born on November 12, 1940, to the late Amos Tinsley and Imo Birge Tinsley. Richard worked at Advance Auto in Glasgow for many years. He sang gospel music with Canaanland Quartet for several years, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Danny Ray Tinsley of Glasgow, and Steve Tinsley of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, Madeline Tinsley, and George Tinsley; sister, Peggy Spear. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rachel Sue Combs Tinsley, and his brother, Harold Tinsley. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday, May 13th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and on Thursday morning until time for Service.
