Richard Lee Francis

Richard Lee Francis, 79, of Fountain Run, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on August 13, 1942 to the late Johnnie Francis and Mary Woodcock Francis of Barren County. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Austin, Kentucky since 1958. He was a farmer and logger. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam 1968-1969. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Berry) Francis; two daughters, Lori Harwood (Ricky) of Fountain Run, Kentucky and Leigh Ann Woods (Timmy) of Scottsville, Kentucky; one grandson, Tyler Harwood of Fountain Run, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Corbin and Claire Harwood of Fountain Run, Kentucky; one brother, Roy Francis of Lucas, Kentucky; one sister, Marie Crawhorn (Vernon) of Glasgow, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Angela Dawn Harwood and one brother, Ray Francis. The funeral service for Mr. Francis will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 28th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Home Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by DAV Chapter #20. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM, all day Monday, and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A.
