Richard Powell

Richard David Powell, age 67, of Glasgow, died Friday, March 18, 2022 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Glasgow, on January 7, 1955 to the late Thomas Richard Powell and the late Lois (McDonald) Arean. He was a Central Stores Manager at Southern Kentucky Technical School and a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Joshua Powell (Lesley) and Jesse Alan Powell (Christa); five grandchildren, Camryn Powell, Jayden Powell, Logan Powell, Landon Powell, and Novah Powell; three brothers, Brett Thomas Powell (Sherry), Mark Powell (Kim), and Timothy Glenn Powell (Lynette); several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Aubrey Powell; one uncle, Glenn McDonald. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 21st at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time for the service, Monday, at the funeral home.
