Richard "Rick" Martin

Richard 'Rick' Martin 68 of Glasgow died suddenly Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Glasgow. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Clarence E. and Mae Turner Martin. Rick was retired from the Aramark Co. and also farmed. He enjoyed horseback riding and was very active in the Ohio County Equestrian Handicap Riding Program. Survivors include his wife Teresa Tinsley Martin; 4 children Donna (Tony) Jones of Dyersburg, TN, Robert (Stephanie) Martin of Owensboro, Angela Martin of Glasgow and B.J. (Joann) Eaton of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren Austen Eaton, Olivia Jackson, Jack Martin, Lillie Daniel, Jordyn Martin, Bailee Daughtery, Landen Daughtery and Brooklyn Daughtery; 2 brothers Orby (Nellie) Martin of Glasgow and Billy Joe (Carol Ann) Martin of Cave City; 3 sisters Etta (Kenneth) Calvert, Ann Norman and Mary D. Carter all of Glasgow; his father and mother-in-law Bill and Helen Tinsley of Glasgow; a brother-in-law Don (Linda) Tinsley of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 6 brothers Herbert, Paul, David, Allen, Wilson and Lee Martin and 2 sisters Margie Ward and Nadine Morgan. Funeral services will be 11am Friday, August 30th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2pm until 8pm and Friday morning until time for the services at the funeral home.
