Rickey Meredith

Rickey Wallace Meredith, age 58 of Glasgow, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville surrounded by his family. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Oscar H. and Delpha Shaw Meredith. Rickey was saved at the age of 11; a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Villages, Florida and attended Southside Baptist Church in Glasgow. He was a master builder with a tremendous talent for home building and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife Sue; his step children, Ben (Tanya) Morgan and Amia Martin of Paducah whom he loved and raised as his own, Liz (Brent) Crawford and Jen (Rodger) Merkel of Ohio; grandchildren Ali, Hunter, Matthew, Aaliyah, Adam, Sara, Anna and Katie; his brother Hollis (Marian) Meredith and sisters Margaret (Carol) Jennings and Brenda (Sonny) Campbell of Glasgow; 2 nieces Marsha Dearing and Ashley Runyon; 4 nephews Norman, Kelly and Aaron Meredith and Craig Jennings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a niece, Shauna Campbell. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 2nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm until 8pm and Tuesday morning until time for the service.
