Rita Oswald

Rita Rose Oswald 88 of Glasgow, KY died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the NHC Healthcare Center in Glasgow, KY. Born in Lawrence, Nebraska she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Maggie Hartman Walz and the wife of the late John Oswald. Mrs. Oswald attended the St Helen's Catholic Church in Glasgow. Survivors include 2 sons Larry Oswald (Barbara) and John Oswald (Nancy) both of Glasgow, KY; 1 daughter Corrine Wilson (Bob) of Henderson, Nevada; 1 brother Walter Walz of Washington State; 1 sister Pat Neubauer of Iowa; 6 grandchildren Ray Fredericksen, Tim Wilkins, Tiffany Wilkins, Scott Oswald, John F. Oswald and Kristine Evans; 4 great grandchildren Alexis Oswald, Jack and Jordan Fredericksen, and Summer Evans. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Saturday March 6, 2010 at the St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola, Nebraska with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 5, 2010 from 9:00 AM until 7:00pm at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home in McCook Nebraska. A Rosary Service will be held at 5:30pm Friday at the funeral home. There will be no services locally. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
