Robert Allen Strickland

Robert Allen Strickland, age 73, of Cave City, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital. He was born in Savannah, GA on March 14, 1947 to the late Maxine (Lane) Strickland. He served eight years in the Air Force. He also served as CEO of the Horse Cave State Bank and as Mayor of Horse Cave. He attended church at Glenview Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, reading, cooking, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janice (Pedigo) Strickland; three daughters, Angela Kesslar (Brad), Sidney Fox (Lee), Holley Short (Josh); five grandchildren, Jacob Kesslar, Carter and Cullen Short, Lendon and Lincoln Fox; three brothers, Mike Strickland and his late brothers, Bill Strickland and Jim Strickland; two late sisters, Pat and Sherry; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Jeff Pedigo. Funeral services for Mr. Strickland will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24th at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until time for services at the funeral home. The family has chosen cremation to follow the service. All those who wish to honor and remember Mr. Strickland in person at the service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing for the safety of those in attendance.
