Robert Belcher

Rev. Robert Eugene 'Bobby' Belcher 54 of Summer Shade, KY died Tuesday March 4th at Jewish Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. He was born in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Robert Owens Belcher and Cathleen Kingrey Belcher of Summer Shade who survives. He was an active member of Union #2 Missionary Baptist Church. He hosted a radio program 'Words of Truth' that could be heard on WCLU radio station on Sunday afternoons. He was retired from SKF/RBC in Glasgow. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 35 years Linda Kinslow Belcher; one daughter Valerie Belcher of Summer Shade; one son David Belcher and wife Rendy of Mt. Hermon; 2 grandchildren Austyn David and Addisyn Grace Belcher; one sister Shelia Chandler and husband Jerry of Tompkinsville and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday March 7th at the Union #2 Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00pm until 9:00pm and on Friday 8:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home and at the Church from 12:00pm until time for services.
