Robert M. Clark, 77, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro on January 14, 1941 to the late William Bernard Clark and Corinne Kost Clark. Robert was a member of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the U.S. Army and was retired from the Boilermaker Union Local 40. Robert enjoyed building hot rods and woodworking. He was especially well known for his woodcarving of Apollo Eagle and transforming trees into animals on Highway 56 in the Sorgho area. Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sisters Joann and Clarice, and his brothers Billy and Phillip. Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Tina Clark, his children Stacy Clark and Mike (Lisa) Clark both of Owensboro, his grandchildren, Todd, Matt, Nolan, and Falen, his great-grandchildren, Jack and Henry, and his siblings Mary Catherine Reed of Philpot, Terry (Janet) Clark of Lexington, and Eugene (Suzanne) Clark of Gulfport Mississippi.
