Robert Clark

Robert F. Bob Clark 84 of Glasgow died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was born in Metcalfe County the son of the late William C. and Iva Coffey Clark. He was retired from General Electric in Louisville and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Clark was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Glasgow and the Sunset Lodge #915 F&AM in Louisville. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and his family. He is survived by his wife, Marie Oakes Clark; a son Jerry Robert Clark and wife Wanda of Shepherdsville, KY; 2 grandchildren Michael Clark and Dee Sharber; 2 great grandchildren Kristen and Cody Hatfield; a brother James Howard Clark of Michigan; a sister Doris (Bill) Disponett of Louisville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Tana Clark, 4 brothers John William, Odell, Morris and Clyde Clark and 4 sisters Delphia Shives, Opal Harvey, Kathleen Clark and Lura Belle Clark. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00PM until 8:00PM and on Saturday until service time.
