Robert Duvall

Robert Lee Duvall 83 of Glasgow died Sunday April 16, 2006 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Fred and Iva Lee Sharp Duvall. Mr. Duvall was a former employee of Ragland-Potter which became the Malone and Hyde Company and the National Stores in Glasgow. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1959 and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Survivors include a daughter Sandy Duvall of Glasgow; 2 sons Bobby Duvall and wife Judy of Glasgow and Kenny Duvall of Glasgow; 3 brothers Carl, James and Ralph Duvall all of Glasgow; a sister Clarine Witty of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Laura Lee Duvall and Adam Duvall of Glasgow; 3 step grandchildren Troy (Tonya) Elliott of Lexington, KY, Ben (Randi) Elliott of Baton Rouge, LA and Natalie (John) Wade of Tampa, FL. Seven Step Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Augustus Duvall, brothers Paul, Earl and Roy Duvall and a sister Dorothy Jean Shipley. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday April 19, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday until time for services. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Glasgow High School Alumni Association.
