Robert Edwards

Robert Allen Edwards, 73, of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at NHC Healthcare Center. Born in Horse Cave, KY on September 25, 1942, he was the son of the late Willard Harrison Edwards and Maisia Landrum Edwards. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Edwards Banks, one sister, Blanche E. Johnson Combs and a nephew, Edward A. Hatcher. He is survived by his wife, Anna Proffitt Edwards, and son Jeffrey Allen Edwards both of Glasgow; a niece Donna Johnson Stockbower (Wayne)of Ft. Myers, FL; two great nephews, Larry E. Johnson, Jr. (Deonna) and Jason A. Johnson both of Lehigh Acres, FL. Robert Edwards was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a master woodworker and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, November 14th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10am until time for services.
