Robert Richey

Robert Sherrell Richey 58 of Glasgow, died Saturday August 22, 2009 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Robert Dexter Richey and Ruth Arlene Copas Richey of Glasgow who survives. Mr. Richey was a former Truck Driver, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Brenda Cash Richey; a daughter Nikki Richardson and husband John of Glasgow; his mother Ruth Arlene Copas Richey of Glasgow; mother-in-law Evelyn Cash of Glasgow; 2 brothers Steve Richey and wife Sandy of Mt. Hermon and Jeff Richey and wife Heather of Hiseville and 2 grandchildren Andy and Brooklyn Richardson of Glasgow. Two nephews and one niece also survive. In addition his father Robert Dexter Richey, he was preceded in death by a step son, Scott Clark. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday August 25, 2009 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Popar Log Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 12:00noon on Monday at the Funeral home.
