Robert Rutledge

Robert E. Rutledge 81 of Park City, KY died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Willie Ernest & Minnie Lawson Rutledge. Mr. Rutledge was a member of the New Beginning Baptist Church, retired from the Glasgow Water Company and a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ozell Rutledge. Survivors include his wife Pauline Madison Rutledge of Park City, KY; a son James A. Rutledge (Cindy) of Connecticut; two daughters Deborah Fuller and Shelly Broe of Columbus, IN; a sister Jean Abner of Columbus, IN; a step-daughter Beverly Reed (N. E.) of Brownsville, KY; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, May19, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:30pm Friday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the New Beginning Baptist Church Building Fund at 65 Bon Ayr-Park City Rd. Park City, KY 42160.
