Robert Stephenson

Robert Louis Stephenson, 83, of Glasgow, died Saturday February 13, 2016 at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late George Edgar Stephenson and Nettie Mae Bowles Stephenson. He was a farmer and a custodian at Glasgow Baptist Church for over 24 years. He attended Brotherhood Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Tammy Geralds (Kenneth) of Glasgow; 2 sons Ricky Stephenson (Reeta) and Stevie Stephenson (Loni) both of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren Jamie Meek of Glasgow, Greg Stephenson (Danielle) and Richard Stephenson (Fiancee` Chastity) of IN, Rebecca Stephenson of Greensburg, Sara, Seth and Jr. Stephenson from Glasgow; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Barbara Ward, Lillian Burris and Beatrice Neal of Glasgow; 1 brother Charles Stephenson (Phyllis) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Lois Abner Stephenson; son Robert Dean Stephenson; brother James Stephenson and a sister Francis England. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday February 17, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bowles Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Tuesday at the funeral home.
