Robert Ward

Robert Houston Ward 78 of Cave City, KY died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Born in Monroe Co. he was the son of the late Henry Clay Ward & Roxie Mae Turner Ward. Mr. Ward was of the Baptist Faith and attended the Joyner's Chapel Church, he was also a retired carpenter. Survivors include 2 daughters Jean Pedigo (Bobby) and Linda Pace (Dean) both of Cave City, KY; a son Robert Phillip Ward (Darlene) of Glasgow; 2 sisters Jonell Berry of Louisville and Geneva Emberton of Crawfordsville, IN; 6 grandchildren Michelle Meredith, Robert Phillip Ward, Jr., Stacy Lewis, Brandi Pace, Jennifer Johnson and Kevin Wiley; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a grandson Kelly Dewayne Ward, a sister Laverne Mizell and 6 brothers Claudie, Lewis, Rondall, Ancel, Faye Martin and Donald Ward. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Home Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
