Ronald Lee Simpson 74 of Glasgow died Friday, June 7th, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County November 19, 1938, a son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Bellamy Simpson. He was a Baptist minister and had served as pastor of Fairview General Baptist Church and Glasgow General Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Eaton Corp. Survivors include his wife Joyce Landrum Simpson; 3 sons Tony Simpson and wife Renee of Spring, TX, Tim Simpson and wife Kimberly of Murfreesboro, TN and Joey Simpson and wife Melissa of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Corey Simpson of Cypress, TX, Tyler Simpson of Katy, TX, Kris Simpson of Bowling Green, Hunter Simpson of Murfreesboro, TN, Katie Simpson of Louisville and Hannah Simpson of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 great granddaughter Peighton Simpson of Cypress, TX; 3 brothers Howard Simpson of Keller, TX, Troy Simpson of Park City and Ricky Simpson of Cave City; 5 sisters Patsy Glass of Hardyville, Vonita Bush of Glasgow, Janice Crump of Park City, Joyce Hay of Horse Cave and Vicki Richey of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, June 10th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12pm until 8pm and Monday morning until time for the service.
