Ronald Hesson Tuck known as 'Tuck' passed away Wednesday April 26, 2006 at his home on Leslie Ave. in Glasgow. By his side were his wife Barbara and loving family. Tuck was born August 7, 1938 in Lafayette, TN. He was one of thirteen children of the late Alvie Spratt Tuck and Nettie Lou Hesson Tuck. 'Tuck' lived in Glasgow most of his life and was a successful partner in Tuck and England's Painting. He retired in 2000 due to health reasons. During his retirement he enjoyed playing golf, spending time with hsi family and was an active member in the Masonic and Shriner's organizations. He became a Mason in 1981 and was currently an active member of Allen Lodge #24 F&AM in Glasgow. He was also an honorary member of the following lodges: #934 Park City, #517 Hays, #847 Austin, #931 Edmonton, #231 Bear Wallow, Goshen Lodge #503 Alvaton, #790 Cave City, #787 Hiseville, #413 Burkesville Rights, #813 Gazel Lodge, #788 Beech Bottom, and a member of Edmonton Chapter #470 Order of the Eastern Star. He served as the 1998 Past Master of the Allen Masonic Lodge and served as Past Master of the Cave City Lodge #790 F&AM in 1994. He was also a member of the following organizations: Past Master's Society of Southern KY, Kosair Shrine, Glasgow Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Valley of Louisville, Barren-Hart Scottish Rite Club, Kosair Shriner's, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Louisville and he was a Kentucky Colonel. Tuck attended Bethel Independent Baptist Church and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church but most importantly, he was a Christian. During his long battle with cancer he would always say, 'God has a plan for me and when he has a place for me it will be my time.' As many of you know he fought Lung Cancer for several years. His faith in God sustained him throughout his cancer and he is now with his Heavenly Father. His journey on earth is over, but his journey in heaven has just begun. Ronald and his wife Barbara England Tuck were married for 50 years and raised four daughters: Peggy Tuck of Glasgow, Debbie Conner and husband Mike of Albany, Kay France and husband Jeff of Bowling Green and Mandi Norman and husband Brian of Glasgow. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Kasey Clay and husband Chris of Glasgow, Wesley Daniel Tuck Kingrey of Glasgow, Michial Hesson and Cornelius Woodrum Tuck Conner of Albany and Tuck Enoch Norman of Glasgow. He was also blessed with two great grandchildren Adrian McKay Bragg and McKenzie Allison-Grace Clay of Glasgow with whom he enjoyed spending time with these past few months while at home. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday April 28, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held 7:00pm Thursday at the funeral home and the public is welcome to attend. Visitation will be after 5:00pm on Wednesday and will continue on Thursday and Friday until time for services.
