Rondal Shaw

Gale 'Goober' Shaw 60 of Glasgow, died Wednesday August 27, 2008 at Glasgow Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Cumberland County the son of the late Raymond Taylor Shaw and Mamie Ellen Shaw. Goober was an auto body repairman, and owned and operated Shaw's Body Shop in Glasgow. He is survived by his wife Brenda; 1 son Chris Shaw of Glasgow; 1 daughter Denise Smith (Jason) of Glasgow; 1 step daughter Susan Clemmons (Troy) of Edmonton; 1 step son Steven Furlong (Calissa) of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Holley Geary and Cody Smith; 5 step grandchildren Dustin and Katlyn Clemmons and Madison, Kinley and Rylan Furlong; 2 brothers Jerry Shaw of Tompkinsville and Freddie Shaw of Glasgow; a sister Jo Ann Walters of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Wendell and Roger Shaw. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday August 30, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
