Rondall Francis Birge 84 of Glasgow died Friday January 2, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born in Barren County the son of the late James Clyde Birge & Chloe Nell Bray Birge. Mr. Birge was a farmer, Kentucky Colonel and U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow for over 20 years and member of Temple Hill Baptist Church where he once served as a deacon. Survivors include his wife, Wandalene Birge of Glasgow; 3 daughters, Donna Faller (Andy), Kelli Cherry and Jackie DeVore (Chris) all of Glasgow; foster son, Edwin Gonzalez (Brittany) of Smith Grove; 9 grandchildren, Heather Craddock (Brock), Brandon Faller, Casey Faller, Cory Faller, Kayti Cherry, Tanner Cherry, Hunter Bunnell, Gracie DeVore & Emma DeVore; 1 great grandchild Cambi Craddock. 2 brothers Glenn Birge (Shirley) and Delbert Birge (Barbara) both of Glasgow; 1 sister Ruth Ann Woodcock of Glasgow; several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 5 brothers Quinton, Bill, Ralph, Reggie & Garnett Birge. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday 1-6-2015 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery in Monroe County with military honors provided by DAV chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday 1-5-2015 at the funeral home.
