Rev. Rondel Ward 71 of Louisville, KY died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in Brandenburg, KY. Born in Monroe County, KY he was the son of the late Henry & Roxie Turner Ward. Rev. Ward was a member of the Community General Baptist Church in Louisville. Survivors include his wife Barbara Borders Ward of Louisville, KY; 4 daughters Vickie Turner (Larry) and Sheila Vance both of Louisville, KY, Debbie Ward of Rineyville, KY and Kristi Pike (Joey) of Brandenburg, KY; 2 sons Ronnie Ward (Tracy) and Jeff Ward (Carrie) both of Louisville, KY; 2 sisters Jonell Berry of Louisville and Geneva Emberton of Crawfordsville, IN; a brother Robert Ward of Horse Cave, KY; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 10:00am CDT Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm EDT Thursday at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Hwy. in Louisville, KY and after 1:00pm CDT Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
