Ronnie Richard Taylor 66 of Glasgow died Saturday July 24, 2010 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Barren County the son of Eldon & Marie Mathews Taylor. He was a retired truck driver and served in the U.S. Airforce from 1962-1965 and was a member of the Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Eighty-Eight, KY, Ronnie had a passion for really nice pickup trucks and loved horses. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Glenna (Wright) Webb Taylor of Glasgow: 3 sons Steven Richard Taylor and wife Diana, Brian Scott Taylor and wife Melissa, Kelly Shawn Taylor and wife Shalon all of Glasgow: one daughter Stephanie Michelle Hamilton and husband Stephen of London, KY: one stepson Kevin Blain Webb of Glasgow: two brothers Ralph Taylor of Eighty-Eight, KY and Danny Taylor of Glasgow: one sister Dana Lee Taylor of Knoxville, TN: 8 grandchildren Blake, Beau, Seth, Chase & Conner Taylor all of Glasgow, Jake Hamilton, Taylor Hamilton and Autumn Cannon of London, KY: three great grandchildren and several aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Spillman and his grandparents, Roscoe and Vera Taylor and Euna and Roy Mathews. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday July 27, 2010 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Vistation will be after 4:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
