Rosa Elmore

Rosa Pearl Runyon Elmore 72 of Glasgow died Thursday February 19, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late James Harrison Runyon and Alma Mary Bailey Runyon. Mrs. Elmore was retired from the Mallory Corp. and was also a former employee of Slinkers Jewelry Store in Glasgow. She had attended the Glasgow First Assembly of God church. She is survived by a sister Dorothia Ragle of Glasgow; a sister-in-law, Juanita Runyon of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews including Stephanie McClellan, Tina Huff and Jerome Ragle who were her caregivers, and a special friend Maxine Collins of Glasgow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jessie H. Elmore, a brother Noah Clifton Runyon and a sister Alma Laverne Runyon. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday February 21, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Friday.
