Rose Mills

Rose Greer Mills 79 of Hiseville, died Sunday April 6, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Tompkins Greer. She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Thomas Mills, Sr. Mrs. Mills was an LPN and employed by the Barren County Health Care Facility for 23 years. She was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include a son Howard Mills, Jr. and wife Gladys of Radcliff, KY, 4 daughters Rose Mills of Horse Cave, Rebecca Kimbel and husband Darrell of Jackson, TN, Melissa Dennis of Louisville and Paula Ruth Tyree and husband Eric of Glasgow; 1 sister Glendora Cottrell of Somerset, NJ; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Mrs. Mill's had chosen cremation and a private services with her family. Arrangements are under the direction of the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to BRAWA (Barren River Animal Welfare Assn.) 175 Trojan Trail, Glasgow, KY 42141.
