Rosemary Gassaway
October 22, 1953 — August 31, 2023
Rosemary Gassaway, age 69, of Glasgow, passed away, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Hospice Care Center of Louisville. She was born October 22, 1953, to the late Elzie McCandless and the late Mary (West) McCandless. Rosemary was retired from Farmers RECC, and a member of Edmonton Worship Center. She also enjoyed quilting in her free time.
Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Mark; two sons, Bau Hurt (Courtney), Anthony Gassaway (Jennifer); eight Grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie McCandless (Pat), Rusty McCandless (Renee); two nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Krissy Hurt, her niece, Lacy McCandless.
The funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 3rd, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, September 2nd, and Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
