Rosie Boston

Rosie Nell Vance Boston 84 of Glasgow died Monday, May 07, 2012 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Davis Hammer. Mrs. Boston was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Cecil Vance and Payne Boston. She was retired from SKF and was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter Brenda Goode (Bobby) of Glasgow; 2 sons Jimmy Vance (Nanette) of Bowling Green and Donnie Vance (Beverly) of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren Tony Vance, Robin Hester, Jason Vance, Laurie Basham, David Vance, Ashley Goode and Cory Goode and 7 great-grandchildren Jacob and Jonah Vance, Olivia Hester, Henry Vance, Ada Vance, and Simon and Naomi Basham. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard, James and Roger Hammer and 3 sisters, Anna Kate Flike, Lola Mae Childs and Reva Bray. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bristletown Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Tuesday.
