Roy Hollis Williams, 88, of Lucas, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Austin, Kentucky on May 22, 1933 to the late Jake Williams and Goldie Wheeler Williams. Roy was a groundskeeper and worked in maintenance at Barren River State Park. He was a lifelong farmer and a Deacon at Mt. Oilvet Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include, his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Williams; one son, Randy Williams (Tammy); five grandchildren, Leslie Brooks Williams (Grant), Adam Williams (Denise), Kirk Brooks (Logan), Lacey Williams Bradley (Kelly), Lindsey Williams Tooley (Calvin); several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Goldia Brooks; one brother, Rollie J. Williams; and two sisters, Alta Wilkerson and Lee Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, Kentucky. The funeral service for Mr. Williams will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 5th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A.
