Ruby Claywell

Ruby Nell Wilson Claywell 70 of Glasgow died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at her residence. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Kenlice Earl Wilson and Mary Evelyn Christie Wilson of Glasgow who survives. She was the wife of the late Hurlan Hiram Claywell and a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. In addition to her mother survivors include 2 sons Hurlan Hiram Claywell, Jr. and Gregory Allen Claywell both of Glasgow; 2 daughters Beverly Smith (Walter) and Donna Sturgeon (Kevin) both of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren Bethany Smith, Trevor Smith, Minnisha Claywell, Suesanna Claywell, Robert Claywell, Justin Sturgeon and Jakob Sturgeon; 3 brothers Mark Wilson and Carroll Wilson both of Glasgow and Darrell Wilson of Crawfordsville, IN; a sister Vivian Strange of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her father and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sisters Judy Lewallen and Shirley Spence and 2 brothers Richard and Mike Wilson. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, February 3, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or T. J. Samson Hospice.
