Ruby Davis

Ruby Frazier Davis 88 of Glasgow died peacefully Friday, October 9, 2009 at the NHC Healthcare Facility and is now in heaven with her husband of 65 years, Rev. Roy L. Davis who peceded her in death July 19, 2009. Born in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Minnie Waller Frazier. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and retired employee of Sorenson Industries of Glasgow and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Monroe County. Survivors include 2 daughters Martha Jean Thomas (Billy) of Glasgow and Sheila M. Atchison of New Castle, KY; 2 grandchildren Justin Atchison and Kyle Atchison (Amanda); 1 step grandchild Brad Thomas (Carol); 2 step great grandchildren Megan Thomas and Tyler Richardson; 2 sisters Delzia Wiley (Harley) of Nobob and Mattie Smith of Glasgow, and 1 brother Huey Frazier of Sulphur Lick, KY. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter Nancy Carolyn Davis, 1 son Roy Michael Davis, a brother Clifford Frazier and 2 sisters Agnes Chandler and Ruth Garmon. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at the funeral home.
