Ruby Hunt

Ruby Pearl Hunt 85 of Glasgow died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late D. J. and Lida Smith Shipley. Mrs. Hunt had been a bookkeeper for area businesses, volunteered with T. J. Samson Auxiliary, a member of the Barren County Republican Women's Club, the B&PW Club and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Cecil Hunt; 2 grandchildren Clay Stovall (Jenny) and Ann Phelps (Jimmy) both of Glasgow; 2 great grandchildren Rayne Stovall and Claudia Phelps and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Joseph Clay Stovall, Sr.; her brother James Shipley and 2 sisters Elsie Polson and Alma Duvall. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, April 7th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm until 8pm. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to T. J. Samson Hospice Program or the organization of your choice.
