Ruby Jean Bow

Ruby Jean Houchens Bow 83 of Glasgow died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Elbert Jewell Osborne and Alyne Wheeler Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Bow and a sister Harriett Furlong. Jean was a seamstress and an employee of Handmacher for several years and was a member of the Greater Vision Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter Debbie Williams (Steve) of Glasgow; her son Steve Houchens (Diane) of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Micah Page (Casey), Chad Houchens (Lindsey), Allison Short, Lynsey Wood (Brandon), Shane Williams (M.J.) all of Glasgow and Stacy Williams Zoesch (Johnny) of Germany; 10 great grandchildren Tabitha Williams (Spencer), Leny and Sera Zoesch, K. Z., Genna, Abriana and Zack Williams, Jackson Page, Madi Grace Swayne and Bradley Houchens; 1 great-great grandchild Saydee Grace Williams and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, April 23rd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Wednesday.
