Ruby Lewis

Ruby Hogue Lewis 88 of Glasgow, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Claude and Minnie Dossey Hogue and the wife of the late Willie Lewis. Mrs. Lewis was a retired employee of Mallorys, homemaker and Charter member of the Austin Homemakers for more than 50 years and member of the Mt Olivet Baptist Church at Austin, KY. Survivors include 2 daughters Charlotte Perkins and husband Maurice of Glasgow, Claudette Jones and husband Mike of Somerset, KY, 4 grandsons Dan Pedigo and wife Renna Kaye of Glasgow, Chris Jones and wife Carla of Shelbyville, KY, Randy Perkins and Wife Mary of Glasgow, Jeff Perkins and wife Teresa of Franklin, KY 10 great-grandchildren Emily and Lauren Pedigo, Dylan and Logan Jones, Dustin, Austin, Blake, Haley, Maggie and Jerry Perkins, 1 brother-in-law Corbin Lewis of Glasgow along with several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 4 brothers Paul, Robert, Hubert and Rumsey Hogue. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, 2009 3PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
