Ruby Raymer

Ruby (Lindsey) Raymer, age 80, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away Thursday, December 18th, 2014 in Louisville at the Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born on August 26th, 1934 in Butler County the daughter of the late Hewey and Detsel (Cockerel) Lindsey. Ruby was a member of the Mother Seton Catholic Church in Louisville as well as a housewife and homemaker. Ruby is survived by her husband, Willie of 64 years, four daughters, Peggy Worth of Hillview, Verita Worth of Louisville, Jill Spencer of IN and Tenya Raymer of Bullitt County; two sons, Terry Raymer and Tim Raymer both of Bullitt County; twelve grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. Other than her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by three brothers, JC, Stanley and WL Lindsey and three sisters, Elsie Mae, Anita and Sue.Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. CST at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Jackie Cockrel will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Monday after 1:00 pm CST and Tuesday from 9:00 am CST until time of service.
